Graduate Trainee Program – Field Service Engineer (Saudi Arabia)

Your challenge will be to consistently deliver high quality service and exceptional customer care for our healthcare clients in Saudi Arabia. The program will enable you to develop your skills and competencies and, depending on your area of expertise and interest, has been designed to allow you to specialize and follow either a business or technical career development path.

Your responsibilities

As a graduate trainee field service engineer you will be responsible for the maintenance and installation of healthcare equipment across a large network of professional healthcare organizations, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction at all times.

You are responsible for:

• installation of Philips Healthcare (PH) equipment to specified quality standard within agreed timeframe
• planned maintenance and equipment modifications to specified quality standard within agreed timeframe
• corrective maintenance supported by tier-2 support helpdesk as required
• demonstrating commitment to meeting customer needs by ensuring quality standards
• submitting timely and accurate service records and data e.g. test & inspection results, job sheets, reports, expense claims, radiation film badges, field problem reports and other paperwork, as assigned
• reporting identified device safety issues according to applicable PH quality standard policy
• awareness and understanding of customer needs and identification of potential commercial leads through customer visits, providing feedback and recommendations to management and relevant people within the organization (Philips Lifecycle Solutions – PLS)
• reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and following up relevant assigned quality and regulatory training in a timely manner
• supporting District Customer Services & Operations Manager and Customer Services Account Manager as appropriate with contract renewals etc
• utilizing company property with care to ensure optimal results and minimal operational costs
• keeping up-to-date regarding new technologies likely to affect PH range of products
• maintaining professionalism with team and customers in relation to appearance and behavior with regard to local customs and in accordance with company policy
• adopting appropriate ESD (what’s ESD?) control while servicing PH equipment
• using appropriate electronic measurement equipment in calibration controlled cycle
• ordering spare parts
• executing additional service activities when product certified
• initiating quote generation
