GEOLOGIST/GEOPHYSICIST/GEOSCIENTIST

We are currently working with a Drilling Contractor in the Nigerian oil and gas sector for an urgent requirement for a Geologist/Geophysicist/Geoscientist.

Ideal candidate will have solid experience of geotechnical & drilling tools with geotechnical sales experience.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Venture lead in technical discussion with local partners, IOC’s, and key government offices.
Regional evaluations, developing a regional understanding of the key plays to be chased in clients’ asset, including identification of potential business opportunity.
Interpretation of 2D/3D seismic data to produce maps.
Preparation of auditable volumes and risking for leads and prospects according to COMPANY methodology.
Proactive knowledge sharing and engagement with colleagues.
Fully document all work products and manage data in conformance with COMPANY procedures.
Maintain and apply updated awareness of competitor activities (successes and failures) to business operation model.

QUALIFICATIONS
A university degree in Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years geotechnical experience.
